UF FOS and Overmet Need?

So I got into the UF Florida Opportunity Scholars Program which is supposed to cover all of the estimated college expenses (~$19,820) for all four years provided you meet the criteria throughout.

But I have since received some private scholarships and my financial need is over met by about $5,000 for Freshman year. Will this hurt my FOS money or possibly revoke my eligibility into the program?

You would just have to give back the overmet scholarship money.

if you report it, yes you will get less money.

Well, if the private scholarships sent a check to the school, and not to you, then you will get "less money" but either way, for you, you will have full need met. I dont see the problem?

What will happen is that they will take out the federal aid, and they will use the scholarships you won. Other people need that money.

Another questions, what is the actual address that UF wants Financial Aid Checks mailed to? The private scholarships ask for a address from the University of Florida to mail the check.
