nope!
Why do so many talk about majors? UGA doesn’t admit based on majors. I have friends who say they got into business. You have to apply to Terry in your 4th semester. I think there are few Fine Arts and Architecture majors you have to be directly admitted to…everyone else is simply undeclared.

Exactly. I think it’ll just say what major you applied to. At least that’s the one in my portal.
To be clear, no one really “applied” to a major (other than a few exceptions). Thye “indicated an interest” … congrats!

He’s good with the decision as he has plenty of other great offers with merit. Congrats to everyone who received good news today. I’m a believer that everything in life has a purpose and that these kids end up exactly where they belong.

Oh my goodness- it’s hard to believe your son was denied. This is one of those infamous UGA head-scratching outcomes. It is a weird year. I’m glad he has merit & great offers elsewhere; obviously he’s a catch. Best of luck to him where he lands.

D admitted after EA deferral. OOS, and no scholarship makes it hard to say yes, though. UF and FSU are still her top choices at this point. But maybe we’ll visit and see if she falls in love.

OK, thank you. I just found this notification under “next steps” on the New Dawgs portal. It reads:
Soon after your UGA acceptance, you should receive an important email titled “UGA Account Information—Please Keep” sent to the email address you provided on your application for admission.
I think we are still waiting on an email.
That’s probably it. There’s also a “check financial aid status” under ‘enriching your UGA experience’
