Now that’s funny. I agree, the defer time feels like time moves 10x slower.
Did anyone get an email about Scholarship Reporting Form? I got deferred and I waiting on my decision.
I got it too! I applied regular decision.
Do you think that means we got in?
Idk there’s a chance but it could also just be an auto generated email.
I don’t think it’s a good way to determine whether you got in or not. However, I may be totally wrong.
So I just asked my sister if she received this email, and she said no. I’m not trying to get anyone’s hopes up but i don’t see why they would send some of the students the email, but not all (unless…). When I clicked on the link in the email, it led me to the UGA SSO, which I don’t have the login for. If you click on “Trouble Logging In?”, one of the reasons is , “If you have left UGA, your MyID may have been deemed inactive and disabled or deleted.”
Please correct me if I’m wrong.
I can’t log in either!
It says it is invalid for me haha! I do not think I will get in bc I am Out of State.
Like I said before, I don’t think this really indicates whether you got in or not. I just thought it was a little interesting.
I received this email too. If the email is a glitch, all applicants should receive it. But… Who knows. It really is interesting.
Didn’t get any emails. Just great. Waiting 5 months to know the decision based on not getting an email.
I don’t know anything about this, but I do know a few years ago, an email went out to a bunch of Clemson students about signing up for clubs. It was a typical “rah rah Clemson” email, but the timing of it made it feel like a lot of students got in. And they didn’t. I would’t read too much into either way.
My son is a sophomore at UGA and he never received an email like that before he got his offer of admission. Perhaps the people who got the email are in line for a scholarship, but, in my opinion, the fact that you did not receive an email is not an indication that you didn’t get into UGA.
It honestly could mean anything or nothing at all. Try to limit the speculation for yourself and the sanity of others. Only 5 full days until decision day.
David Graves said it’s not linked to your decision.
Where did he say this? I can’t seem to find it.
