I attended one of UGA’s summer camps this past summer called GAPSS. I wrote about it in my of my short essay in the application. Will this possibly increase my chances of being accepted if my scores and gpa are in the lower 25%?

I think it may increase your chances slightly. But honestly, they focus more on your GPA, course rigor and testing scores the most, so if you fall short in all of those areas the summer program won’t do much to help.

I think you should consider taking the SAT one more time in January (and submit your scores to them ASAP). Afterwards, just try to make all As for the rest of your senior year (or at least until you receive the acceptance letter).

Good Luck

Are you close to the 50% stats? I think it depends on that. If you are close and they look at the whole picture which they do for RD, then that may give you an edge. If you are way off then maybe not so much.

Also how was your rigor? Did you take AP/Honors classes? A low GPA with rigor may be looked on more favorably.

ACT- English 28 Math 24
Weighted GPA- 3.52
3 APs- AP U.S. History, AP Psychology, and AP Calculus AB
