Hey! I am currently a senior in hs in Georgia and recently was accepted into UGA as well as Auburn and Clemson but I am just so conflicted on where to go. As a GA student it would seem like a no brainer to go to UGA, or at least that’s what people have told me. But I’ve never had that big of an emotional attachment to the school, but I love the school and think it’s a great option. I wasn’t 100% sure I was going to get in so I already started putting thought into going to Clemson. I visited the campus a week ago and thought it was stunning. I liked the vibes and it wasn’t as huge as I know uga is. I’ve only been to downtown in Auburn and haven’t really toured that yet. I got into all of these schools in Prepharmacy and I know for sure UGA has a school of pharmacy. I plan to rush anywhere I go and I love a good night out but I mostly stay in. And let’s say hypothetically tuition won’t be an issue… Please let me know your thoughts or any advice/tips, thanks!
1st of all- how much more expensive would Auburn or Clemson be vs UGA, and is that an issue for your family?
I might be wrong on this but I think Auburn and UGA have pharmacy schools and Clemson does not. that seems like a factor here.
It’s tough for a top kid to leave Georgia because most people love free tuition and many have earned it. But if your family is ok with Clemson, and that’s where you want to be, then go for it. Don’t forget, they’ll have to pay for pharmacy school too.
All three schools are certainly excellent choices but as you noted, all three are different.
PS - it looks like Auburn has a fast track degree (3+4) - you might look at the other two to see if they do as well.
Good luck

Similar situation for us S21 and D23 being Florida residents with Bright Futures scholarships. Ultimately stayed instate at FSU and UF.
