Ughh

Is it just me or do you all just not ever want to leave the house? I feel like there is nothing to do at all, and I just sit on my butt all day. When my friends ask me to hang out, I always come up with excuses for no reason just so I can stay home.

lol I have the opposite problem… I hate being at my house. I guess if I hang out with people too much then I get like you and I go super introverted and won’t talk to anyone haha; must be the INTP in me ; ]

Oh my gosh, you’re like me. Well, I have a boring life and all of my friends are either A) On vacation, B) Doing drugs, C) Other things that I’m not interested in. Well, I have to leave the house sooner or later… I’m going on vacation in three days and I have nothing prepared except a suitcase and clothes. I need to get presents for all of my family in England! Gah, so far I’m thinking of getting my grandma a “Jersey Girl” T-Shirt and my grandpa something with “Fist Pumping.” Not sure yet. But yeah, I have to go out shopping sooner or later… but most likely later.

No, I’m going to a swim party right now.

Stoop kid’s afraid to leave his stoop.

Sometimes I have absolutely nothing to do and my friends ask me to hang out, but i decline. It’s really weird. I guess I just want some alone and relaxation time after a hard year of work. But my main reason for not going outside is I have no car…

^^LOL

Yeah I get that a lot. Best to just go out anyways, at least to jog around a bit. If you don’t go out, it’s harder to go out the next day.

haha, I completely understand where you are coming from. I have the same issue, I just prefer to do things in a solitary environment, lol.

I have days like that, esp. if its raining. then i don’t want to do like, anything :stuck_out_tongue:
read and eat. some tv and movies. eat some more, than repeat. xD

sometimes you just need days like that. ^.^
I know I do!

same here, …stupid neighbors…lol

LMAO

Thanks guys, I’m glad I’m not the only one. And LOL at the Hey Arnold quote.

Most of my friends are either doing stupid stuff or are on vacation…so yeah I feel such a way.

All of my friends have summer jobs or some sort of internship. I find the solitude to be rather nice compared to my typically busy school schedule. I doubt you are the only one to feel this way. Its a summer effect.

Ps, even when having a car, there is nothing to do especially in suburbia.

Same here. After going out almost everyday with my friends and being reckless in middle school, I no longer find entertainment, fun, nor joy in hanging out…it just doesn’t phase me anymore. I’m satisfied with just seeing them at school and hanging out with them then.

Ugh, I still feel the same. I’m almost ready for school to start back :(

If I had nothing to do and what they propose is fun in my opinion, then sure I’ll go. But it’s a hassle to find a ride, which I’m reluctant to find.

Eh, not really. I’ve been partying every chance I get. I’m trying to pack in as much stuff to do with my friends before the summer ends and we all leave for college, which will be depressing.

I hate staying at home. I always try to find a way to get out of the house. So far I’ve been catching up with a lot of my good old friends and find something fun to do almost everyday exploring new places…since I’m trying to take advantage of the metro train which goes almost everywhere in the city…for avery low affordable cost (that you put & scan on your card).

Work has prevented me from partying like I want to. When I do go to parties, I always suffer the following morning.

Confronting a group of loud, annoying, and rude sixth and seventh graders whilst battling sleep deprivation - along with a host of other self-induced ills - is not a good way to spend one’s workday. If you don’t have something similar holding you down, get the hell out of your house and party your ass off.
