I dunno. I don’t think that the more exposure you have it means the wiser you are. It’s how you react to the exposure and how you let it shape you. Oh and I love my mommy :)

And did this thread really get you down jas0n? I actually find it refreshing. If anything is going to get you down about UCI look no further than to collegemom. In my opinion. :)

All good, I’m Vietnamese and intend to take Chinese in college ^^. All I know is that phrase is normally used in an offensive way: “Shut up please!” I watch a lot of anime for entertainment, and I’ve consistently heard this phrase so I decided to use it for a joke. My mistake if it’s wrong. It shouldn’t be though…

collegemom: I don’t know where you get that translation. Jason’s japanese sentence doesn’t make sense. It say: Its noisy, Please. urusai=noisy. yo is a particle. Kudasai is please, but you have to add verb(te form)kudasi. So the particle yo does not fit into this sentence. for example to use kudasai: okane wo kashi de kudasai.( Please lend me some money)

oops, just realize my sentence is little bit wrong. Its shi te instead of shide.

UCI’s ugly? I wouldn’t say so…it’s shaped in a circle with a nice park in the middle. The Campus is only 40 years old so it can’t be that ugly compared to some of the older UCs out there. Personally, the social sciences are beautiful at uci.

I came into this topic to hear other opinions on the ugliest UC campuses, so I’m going to put us back on topic :)

Anyways out of all the ones I’ve been to: Berkeley, LA, SD, Davis, Irvine, SC, Riverside, I probably dislike Riverisde the most. There weren’t really much to see, and I personally dislike Berkeley too, though many other people like it. Their campus just seems untidy and messy to me.

i just visited uci today and i actually thought it was kind of pretty. well, out of all the uc campuses i’ve only been to uci and ucsb, and for some reason, ucsb’s campus just wasn’t that appealing to me.
