Uh. Crap.

I was going to apply to Yale EASC, so I gave my counselor/teachers envelopes that said “Single Choice Early Action” on them so they would be easier to process (at least, that’s what the website said). I changed my mind last minute (literally Nov. 1) that I didn’t want to apply (stupid stupid stupid AHH IESnfAKJWNawnp), and I didn’t ask my counselor/teachers for new ones. Should I assumed that the stuff I sent for early was auto-deferred to RD? Thanks!

I would assume nothing.

The downside of a wrong assumption is huge; the cost of an inquiry is small.

Just write them a letter explaining what happened. In all likelihood they hung on to your letters.
