I thought I read it on collegeboard that it’s SAT and SAT Subject Tests or ACT.

[College Search - Duke University - Duke - SAT®, AP®, CLEP®](<a href=“College Search - BigFuture | College Board”>College Search - BigFuture | College Board)

It says admissions decisions - I need ACT, but for placement I need subject tests and APs(I’m taking the only AP at my school, AP Bio). I’m not taking AP Calc or AP Spanish, but I’m taking College Credit Calculus 101, so I’m eligble to take the AP Calc exam, so should I give a shot at that? Does an AP score make up for a SAT subject test for Duke?

What about this one?

[College Search - Emory University - SAT®, AP®, CLEP®](<a href=“College Search - BigFuture | College Board”>College Search - BigFuture | College Board)

Placement only requires AP and no subject tests. I have plenty of time to take them(should have thought about October though). I can give a shot at Government and Econ, but I need to try Spanish and Math probably. For those two universities, and ones where they have requirements under “admissions decisions” and "placement’, what do I need?
