uh-oh...help, my school screwed me over!

okay, so my high school requires a computer course or a “pass” on a computer literacy. I took the test and passed, and was taking ceramics 1 and 2 this year (I’m a senior). however, their data got messed up somehow and they tried to put me in a computer course. I managed to get myself out of it, but by that time, all the spots in the other elective courses had been filled and I had to take one period off, no class. I’ve fulfilled all the a-g requirements for the UCs, which are the only colleges i applied to, but I’m still worried that this will look…unfavorable.

 1. what do you guys think? will this be a factor in my admission?
 2. how do I inform the UC campus? I’m on the application status site and don’t see any place where i can make a change to the course list I wrote down.

screw it, it’s just an elective, they don’t care

Get your GC to write a letter notifying them of the schedule change and giving an explanation.

I’d let it go. They won’t care.

One elective spot on your transcript? Like RaboKarabekian said, ask your GC to explain it, if it truly freaks you out so much.

If it were me, I wouldn’t care much about it.
