<p>I’m enrolled in U Houston as international student, but I didn’t really liked it.</p>

<p>I’m considering some of the other colleges with similar tuition / academics.
This is where I came up with State University of New York - Buffalo,Stony Brook,Binghamton.</p>

<p>So if I transfer out will these be better than Houston ?</p>

<p>I’m selecting universities for transferring as college freshman based on criterias like :</p>

<ul>
<li>International Tuition (<= $10,000 each semester)</li>
<li>Reputed / Standard Academics</li>
<li>Has good Engineering programs, especially Electrical / Mechanical Engineering</li>
<li>If possible, good location too :p</li>
</ul>

<p>I can’t comment on the schools you are asking about, but people knowledgeable about them will have better responses if you describe what you don’t like about UofH and how you define “good location”.</p>

<p>^ Well location for me is like I can freely move around without the fear of being shot.
If you see the area around the UH campus you will know what am saying. You can’t walk alone around the area.</p>
