Hi,
Decisions will be announced on December 17th and I think it is time for a decisions thread.

You can discuss anything about decisions until they are announced. After they are announced, you can also indicate your stats in the following format.

If you are not good enough for your major of choice you are automatically considered for an undecided major. You will only get a deny if you are still not good enough for that.

I applied EA to Engineering with a 3.2/3.6 and a 31 ACT. I’m in state. So far my application status has re-listed me from engineering to the undecided major.

I was expecting to be deferred/denied from Engineering, however after being accepted into Purdue’s First Year Engineering(I know it’s less selective, but their Engineering school is still pretty selective)as an OOS my hopes for Illinois got a little better. I guess it doesn’t matter, only 4 days to go.

I live in illinois, my gpa is a 3.4 overall, my act is a 30.
my school doesn’t rank or weight gpas.
my sister attends u of i currently.
I applied undeclared.

So if my major on the app status is still business, is that a good sign that I will be admitted into the business school?
2040 sat, about 3.5/4.1 gpa

It’s really too hard to tell, it could be switched to DGS at any time, you could be accepted to Business, or you could just be completely denied. Just try to keep your sanity for 4 more days and you’ll know.

What do you mean that your application was re-listed? Did the parts that say what college/program you applied for change from engineering to undecided?

Mine still says bioengineering on it, so does that mean they are considering me for that program?

Weighted GPA is irrelevant - post your unweighted for an accurate chance.

Haven’t thought about it yet - my cousin went there a few years ago and he said he’d fill me in on best dorms, ect. I’m sure discussions will start after the 17th.
