@Merapi42A, also, as long as you accept UIUC by May 1 to save his spot, he’ll get into the housing lottery on May 15, so I agree with @audreykoz, though - I don’t think there’s anything to be lost by waiting a little longer.

Hello! I was admitted EA to UIUC for Architecture and I’m in Campus Honors as well as a James Scholar. Due to a mishap with a competition signup, there’s a chance I might get kicked off my Mu Alpha Theta chapter, even though I’ve been regularly attending meetings and events. MAT isn’t one of my top EC’s, though, and I feel like it wasn’t really that important to my college application. If I do end up getting kicked out, I’m planning on informing UIUC, but do you guys think it would prompt them to remove me from the Honors Programs? thanks!

is this waitlist just wait and see? it seems like UIUC does not allow student to send any updates to them
@xiao626 No they haven’t yet sent out decisions, at least not mine, and yea it is actually just “wait and see” because I tried sending some updates and they said they do not accept them.
