This is horrific. My alma mater and home state. The guy they arrested is a grad student in physics. He looks friendly, attractive, and normal in his pictures. I could see my daughter going off with him, too. It’s the stuff of any parent’s nightmares.
I’ve been following this story and sick about it. S attends there. That poor girl’s family. Yeah, it’s scary how many “normal” looking people have secrets. This is horrific because the family will always think “if only”. If only she didn’t have that appointment, walk down that street, get in that car.
