My incoming admitted class of 2028 student at UIUC ACES received an award letter for an award just for ACES. They’re saying that college wide awards are delayed due to Fafsa. My student has a 3.95/4.31 gpa, 2 APs, one dual credit, and 13 honors courses along with achievement awards in math and music, and field related community experience. My student is in-state. What are the chances for college wide awards? She is an Illinois State Scholar.
UIUC is not known to be a generous merit award school. Set your expectations accordingly.
