<p>I am currently a Freshman at a Washington state community college. I want to transfer to UIUC in order to study Computer Science and Japanese but I haven’t been able to find much information about transfer statistics. My GPA is a 3.8 and I don’t have many other activities other than an internship. Are my grades high enough to get into UIUC and their CS department? What else should I do to improve my chances? Also, how much does UIUC generally give out in financial aid. My parents are pretty well of so I don’t imagine I will get much is grants. I also think paying over $40,000 per year out of pocket is a little too much as well.</p>
<p>U of I really doesn’t give much financial aid at all, let alone to transfers. Private scholarships are your best bet.</p>
