If accepted into both, which should i choose?

I rather attend UIUC, though via Texas A&M is also good.

Well, purely from overall engineering rankings, the University of Illinois is ranked 5th in the nation, with Texas A&M coming in 14th. If you’re instate in texas, the difference in ranking wouldn’t prompt me to choose an OOS school over Texas A&M if they offer the particular program within engineering that your looking for.

you you are from Illinois or Texas, decision is very easy to made. But OOS, money …

Balthezar, How about UIUC, GT, Umich engineering. what should we consider(OOS)

UIUC, GT, and Michigan are all very close in ranking (4/5/9 GT/UIUC/Michigan in engineering, 4/7/9 Michigan/GT/UIUC among all public schools). For me it would come down to programs, money, and campus preference.

oso and tony, it is pretty vague to just ask which you should choose without any other info on you as a person. It depends on your major, your personality and a plethora of other things.
