<p>To me, the schools are close enough academically… what I’m wondering is, which one offers the better college experience? (happy students, campus community, things to do, etc.)</p>

<p>I like UIUC more. It has diversity which I like.</p>
<p>Maybe but everyone is from Illinois. And the town bites. State College is much nicer as a town.</p>

But isn’t UIUC not taking state residency into consideration? That’s what people on CC and UIUC’s website are saying. So that means they are trying to get more OOS people in.</p>
<p>I hear PSU has better girls, sports, and a large diverse student body.</p>
<p>Yeah, I actually went and visited today. Before it was my first choice, but I was definitely disappointed by the lack of student resources provided in the town.</p>
