It depends on the university. Some will accept SAT2s or a combination of those and APs, as long as they are different subjects. APs he is taking but has not yet completed are definitely considered - his teacher rec needs to include predicted scores, and any offer is likely to be conditional on achieving a cerain score. What is he interested in studying, and which APs/subject tests is he doing/has he done?

He did AP World History and AP Enviro in Jr year. He is doing AP Stats, AP Government & Calculus in Sr year.
His intended field of study is Business.
