<p>I have also been doing a last minute search for UK schools. It doesn’t seem to be feasible for an American that isn’t rich to audition for most of them while still in high school because most of the ones that hold auditions in the US or take videotapes require callbacks in London that would require dropping everything and flying overseas without much notice. The exceptions I have found are the Royal Scottish Academy and the Liverpool Institute. It must be POSSIBLE at others, however, because I saw an American girl in the 3rd year class at RADA when I looked at their website.
