<p>“It is with deep sadness that I report that the Department of Defense announced today the death of Cpt. Andrew. R. Pearson who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. He died April 30 in Baghdad, Iraq, from wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.”</p>

<p>Everytime I see one of these announcements I can hear my heart screaming “not again”. Condolences and prayers to the family of Captain Pearson.</p>
