<p>I’m looking into the possibility of doing an ultra marathon to raise money for charity. My plan would be to have people pledge to give me a certain amount of money upon completion of the race. This would obviously take tons of training and lots of fundraising. I would plan to raise a sum somewhere in the mid thousands. Hopefully this would be very impressive to colleges.</p>
<p>My question is how impressive would this be to colleges? I would not doing this solely to gain admission into a good college, but it would be one of the reasons.</p>
