UM engineering degree + 25k debt

<p>Is it worth to inherit 20-25k debt for Michigan undergraduate engineering degree (IOE) or better attend less-ranked school? </p>

<p>25k is nothing for an engineering major. i had about that much and paid it off easily in a year.</p>

50k for business degree = same as above
75k for an Asian Studies degree = probably the easiest pay off.</p>

<p>some combo of languages like an East Asian language and Spanish (not very many people know both and there are plenty of business to be done with Latin America) can land u some high paying jobs in international business.</p>

<p>^correction, I did read from a book that there was a lot of business to be done with Latin America and and an Asian country, and that accidents have occurred because of miscommunication, and that therefore learning Spanish is important.</p>
