My cousin is currently applying for US colleges. She could get into the following three colleges:
- University of Minnesota, Morris
- California State University, Stanislaus
- University of Nebraska, Kearney
She is planning to study finance/business in these schools for one or two years and then transfer to a better college. I am not sure which school provides better chances to transfer to a better college. I did some research and found that it seems that it is not easy to transfer from CSU to UCs. How about other two colleges? and any advice on picking colleges? Thanks!
She should choose the place where she would like to finish. Transferring is not easy. Many students do not get admitted as transfer students.
If she wants to study at a UC, she should start at one of the California community colleges.
That is a very odd combination of schools and I am not really sure of her status. If she is thinking of applying - she should expand her list but, i would need to know her stats, home state and other interests to give more meaningful guidance…
If there are the 3 schools to which she’s been admitted, she should visit them all and figure out which location and program best fit her needs.
