My son was accepted this afternoon to Isenberg, in state. A lot of his friends have been texting each other this afternoon. Another got into Isenberg, one got into Isenberg Exploratory, one got into one of the engineering majors, and many of them did not get a reply yet and are still waiting.

Certainly that and general selection bias reflected in the higher standard of applicant is probably why we havenā€™t seen many rejections on this site/Reddit.

Just got into Isenberg with a marketing major. 3.6 unweighted GPA, from Massachusetts.

Grandson accepted to Isenberg 01.11.2022 at 3:45 PM. GPA W 4.4. No SAT submitted.
No honors or money, but still a bargain in state.

admitted OOS with email. no honors college but $14k merit scholarship. W GPA 4.2, ACT 30

Admittedā€¦ OOSā€¦no money but this was a stretch for my son. So pleased with general acceptance. Congrats to those in and hoping for those that didnā€™t hear.

9 APs throughout high school (3 on APBio and APUSH, 5 on AP Lang, AP CSP, and AP Calc AB, this year taking AP Calc BC, AP CSA, AP Physics C, and AP Psych)

Anyone know why I didnā€™t get in for honors? Kids at my school with significantly lower GPA and SAT/ACT and ECs got in. Pretty nervous for the rest of my decisions now.

I donā€™t think any nursing decisions came in this batch. I heard of some that heard before Christmas. We are waiting too. Good luck!

Your stats are worthy of honors college! UMass spreads the Honors College acceptances around different schools and majors. They canā€™t have all of honors college computer sci and business majors. Because you were accepted to computer science, you were already competing with and among the top!

Son was just accepted to Exploratory. OOS. 3.55 unweighted GPA. Very solid extracurriculars, job and youth leadership experiences. No test scores submitted. No scholarship money
