Have all decisions that have been sent out been acceptances or are there rejections too? Just want to make sure that people who haven’t got decisions yet aren’t auto rejects.
The Instagram post actually says ‘if you didn’t receive your decision yesterday, there’s no reason to stress! There will be additional waves of EA admit decisions in December and January’.
So maybe there will be some more before the end of the year.

Most of the info is the same but they did change the number of those who received responses (different from the 12/7 post) so there was an update— hoping that means there is still the possibility for another round of responses before January.
UMass Amherst has responded to my query in Twitter. “The next batch will be released in January”

Maybe it is due to the type of major? I think Computer Science, business and engineering is super competitive to get into? Just a thought.

My D called UMass Amherst admissions and they told her that she should expect results during early January!

Major: Nursing BSN (her 2nd and 3rd choices are psychology and sociology)

Perhaps if more applicants asked, the admissions office might be kind enough to respond with a date.
