Thank you!

Pleasee helpp!

There is no specific “pre-med” major.

If you can get in, you can major in almost anything, and as long as you take the recommended courses you will be qualified to apply to med school.

UMass accepts about 65% of all applicants. If your test scores are at the 75% percentile, which is 28 for the ACT, and your grades are good, you would have an almost 100% chance of admittance.

You should apply Early Action, this gives you the best chance for admittance and for scholarships.

What scores would I approximately need for IB ?

When is the deadline for early action? Our school reports come out only by mid november. I worried about that :(

I don’t really know anything about IB so I can’t comment. For a normal high school, the median weighted GPA is around 3.6, so if your IB scores translate to that, you should be fine.

Early action deadline in November 1.
