Finance Major deciding between UMASS Isenberg, UCONN, and the University of Maryland. Wondering which school would provide the best education, cost is not an issue.
In my opinion, your decision should be based on where you want to work and your visits. None of these schools have a clear or significant edge over the others. If you want to work in the D.C. area, go for UMD. If you want to work in New York or Boston, go UMass or UConn.
I agree with the above.
My son goes to UCONN (although for Engineering) and the companies that show up for job fairs, etc are mostly CT and MA based. My daughter goes to UMass Isenberg for Finance and she is getting on campus interviews for internships next summer at mostly Boston based companies.
I will third the advice. You tend to get local companies recruiting. Or at lease local offices of National companies.
