UMBC Premier Scholarship

<p>I just received a letter in the mail saying I was a UMBC Premier Scholar!! It’s 15K/year for 4 years.</p>

<p>On UMBC’s website, it’s listed as the largest scholarship, money-wise, but I’m wondering how many they give out. I’ve heard they’re a bit “generous” with their scholarships.</p>

<p>Does anyone have numbers?</p>

<p>My son is a homeschooled junior and is considering UMBC among other schools. Could you please give us some indication of what your GPA, SAT scrores(or ACT) and courses looked like that help you earn this scholarship?</p>
