UMBC Scholarship Recipients PLEASE READ

<p>Hello! Thank you in advance for responding to this thread.
I was wondering two things:
UMBC offers general merit scholarships and six Scholars Programs.

  1. If I receive both scholarships, will UMBC provide double funding? Like, can one student get two scholarships?
  2. How good is the CWIT program in providing opportunities and job preparation? Is the program truly great and helpful for your career later on in life?</p>

<p>You should receive your merit scholarship before you receive any other program $. The scholarships cannot stack. – you pick one. </p>

<p>The programs (CWIT, Meyerhoff, etc) are incredible opportuntities and well worth the experience.</p>

<p>If you receive outside scholarships – you can stack these with the 1 and only 1 UMBC scholarship you receive.</p>
