There are so many of them…
do they fill up really quickly or do they not have a cut-off point…so I can figure out when I should register…

<p>They start filling up quickly the closer you get to May/June. I would register as soon as possible.</p>

When you log on to the UMCP website and go to register for orientation, they automatically give you a list of the orientations that are still available for your particular program. My daughter registered and it gave a list of the dates for her (non honors, biology major). The one she wanted was still available but it did say that the earlier dates are better because the class availability is better (you register for your first semester classes at orientation). As the summer goes on, the classes fill. Good luck and register as soon as possible.</p>
<p>You can also call the Orientation Office and they can tell you how full particular dates are getting.</p>
