Just wondering a few things about these universities:
-what is campus life/vibe
-how do the business schools compare
-how are things off campus
-are any of these easier/harder to get into?

I am a highschool male sophomore with a 93 GPA and lots of extracurriculars. I am expecting SATs in the 2100-2200 range (based on PSATs and other practice tests).

You’ll want to plan to visit, preferably while there are students on campus…each campus will look/feel significantly different than the others. Look at the rankings and books with descriptions of the programs (but take the rankings with a grain of salt). You’ve got a wide variety of sizes, public vs. private, weather considerations, proximity to civilization, etc. Keep doing what you’re doing…keep that GPA up. UMD is very numbers driving—having high GPA and high SAT are the safest way to get in. Lastly, be sure of where you stand financially before you get your hopes set on something you/your parents may not be able to afford.

Other than that, relax and start really thinking about college the summer before your senior year. Definitely stay away from college confidential until then…the academic/competitive level of people here are enough to make you drive yourself crazy!
