<p>I would expect another 2010-2011 style increase in applications this year, from 42,500 last year to ±50,000 this year. The number of acceptances will likely also increase a little, from 15,500 last year to 16,000 this year. In 10 years, the applicant pool would have doubled while the number of students admitted will have remained the same.</p>
