<p>Of course, Yale is known for grade inflation, along with Harvard. Yet, UMich’s cut-offs for honors are steady with Yale’s. Does this mean anything or am I reading to far into this stat? </p>
<p>Does Highest Distinction mean top 5% (ie. equivalent to summa cum laude)? </p>
<p>I found this quite interesting. What do you all think? Especially current students who may know much more about this.</p>
