does this mean postponed/deferred? or did people who were deferred get a different message that specifically mentioned the word “deferred”?

Daughter got in to the school of kinesiology .Stats 4.4 gpa 12 ap classes 1540 SAT …South Asian …president of Class and captain of Volleyball team .
Good luck to everyone else and thank you for all the advice and support . Though I am proud I don’t love this system and we went through this with our older one as well.She got into some amazing schools but the wait and rejections along with deferrals is humbling for hard working kids but it is a great life lesson and a part of life .
So many great schools and it’s about the good fit

My D was postponed for Kinesiology. We are OOS. SAT 1480. 4.0UW. Lots of APs.
Postponed is UM’s terminology for deferred.
Looks like quite some COE applicants are getting postponed.
