<p>Currently freshman at umich… I’m planning to do a dual degree with Actuarial Science if I stay. Would I be benefited if I transfer to Wharton? Is it possible to do a dual degree in 4 years there? does it worth for me to apply there?</p>

<p>If you’re upset at Michigan or feel you would be more well prepared for your career at UPenn then look into transferring. Both programs are outstanding so it won’t really make a difference in an academic sense.</p>
<p>Getting into wharton as a transfer is extremely difficult but once you get in the reward is great…Ross is also an excellent place to be for Business…I think it will be really hard to complete the dual degree at wharton in four years specially if you transferred, since you have to complete the degree requirements for 2 degrees which often takes another semester or two even with significant overlap</p>
<p>If you plan to be an actuary, I don’t think it matters much. For other opportunities, Wharton is unbeatable.</p>
