UMich General Questions

<p>In the UMich supplemental essay, it asks to talk about the specific qualities and the curriculum. Is it a good idea to talk about personal qualities that match the qualities of the major.
Also, I was thinking of discussing some life goals and then linking those to the mission of the school. Is that a good idea?
Are things like research opportunities, flexibility of program good things to talk about. Is the essay considered very important for UMich admissions?</p>

I am enrolled in the IB program and I am doing the IB Diploma. My grades for the second semester of grade 11 are:
English A Language and Literature SL: 6
French B SL: 6
Math HL: 7
Physics HL: 7
Chemistry HL: 7

I have been playing for a long time. I am doing the 8th and final grade exam in 2015. I have played for the Bangkok charity orchestra and my school’s orchestra and string ensemble.
Peer tutoring- An ECA where we tutor other students. I am one of the math tutors.</p>
