Both my son and his classmate were majoring in Economics- LSA.

UCSD is really good for DS. You cannot go wrong with it.
Will the waitlist close on Friday? As far as I searched, they closed the waitlist on June 24 last year.
Our son (in-state) just got off the waitlist for LSA this afternoon. Although UMich was his top choice, he’s taking a little time to decide between it and UCSD.

2024 waitlist student here, First Year Engineering, International. Deferred in Early action and now waitlisted. Wondering if there is any information for the waitlist movement for Mich Engineering.

When deferred, they asked for a LOCI. Now nothing was asked, other than opting to be in waitlist.

So there is nothing to do but wait. They usually will let you know around Mid June. Get excited about your current options. It’s going to be rare to get off the wait list.
Curious if anyone knows about the Kinesiology waitlist and the winter cohort program they offer to those on the waitlist? I’ve read what Michigan offers on their website- just wondering what the numbers look like - how many apply for this program and how many accepted?

Not really like today. They have to get everything in first. Lol. Mid June is usually when you will know. Enjoy where you are going now. Think of it as a lottery if this happened. Good luck.
UMich may have received hundreds of requests from admitted students asking for decision day extensions because they are waiting for financial aid letters from other colleges (those with later decision day deadlines). That would make it tricky for Michigan to determine how many spots are available for people on the waitlist.

Haven’t heard anything from UMich but my daughter did get a call this AM from BU that she got off to their waitlist which was a shock. So things are moving at least at other schools!

My son got off the Tulane waitlist yesterday, no thanks, hav better options.
My daughter expressed interest in the MAES winter cohort and got an email on May 1 that fall numbers are tracking slow and they may move to waitlist. I have attached for your reference.
