My son just got off the waitlist for LSA (Chemistry). We are OOS.
This has been a crazy whirlwind – the regular admission season was a disappointment and he was set to attend one of his “safety” schools. Now, in the span of a few days, he’s gotten off the waitlists for both UCLA and Michigan. He (and we) have been getting really comfortable with the idea of UCLA in the last few days. Now things have gotten more complicated. (Good problems to have I guess!)

Congrats! Just wondering—are you from the New England area and did you guys apply for financial aid? I’m also OOS (NY) and on WL for Chem so I’m praying!
A little late but I got off the waitlist for LSA about 2 hours ago! Math major but unlikely that I will commit.

She’s really struggling with going to her safety school as UM has always been her dream.
anyone know if they do multiple waves for the same school, or is that it for the LSA hopefuls

My son got accepted today - LSA (Biology). We are thrilled! We are OOS
We were just getting comfortable with UF (Honors) after letting go of several good options with great difficulty. Anyone plans to do a college visit before May 29th deadline?

My dd also accepted off of WL for oos today. We are in NY. I totally ugly cried at my younger kids game when she texted me. It was her top choice going into this process and the deferral and wl really made these last months very stressful bc her acceptances were for schools at the bottom of her list for various reasons. I think she is in shock and had worked so hard to feel ok with her choice on 5/15 (yes, the last possible day to commit). She also had college shirt day this week and they posted a class tiktok so I think she’s bummed about that. Ultimately we are so grateful for this acceptance and know there are many students hoping for similar news soon. Wishing all of our seniors the very best

I just posted my dds news. She submitted her LOCI about ten days after the March notification day. It was a really rough time with a lot of disappointing news. It took a number of days before she could manage to our one together.
