My son was accepted off the waitlist today for School of Engineering. We’re OOS, and have not visited so we need to do that before 5/29, which is tricky. Is anyone aware of any on campus info sessions or tours for these waitlist kids?
My son applied EA and was postponed. He sent an LOCI before March 1, but not again after he was waitlisted.

Seems like today was a big waitlist day! My S24 also got admitted off the waitlist this afternoon, into LSA. He was EA, then deferred, then waitlisted…now in! We’re OOS from NYC. Like someone else who posted here today, email from UMich came in at 3:17pm ET.
We just accepted the offer and paid the deposit…now need to figure out how to get housing since the deadline passed on May 6! And Orientation registration deadline has passed, too…but he’s in!
If anyone has experience with housing and orientation as a waitlist admit from previous years, any advice appreciated…

Actually, I didn’t send a LOCI. If I remember correctly, on the waitlist screen, it mentioned that a LOCI wasn’t required so I didn’t bother sending one.
I was deferred earlier so they already had my Expression of Continued Interest.
Will they have another wave or is this it?

My son was just accepted into the Sports Management Immersion program, which starts in Winter.
What a long ride this has been. Thrilled for those finally getting accepted into their dream school!
Any feedback on this program is welcome. My son will be looking for a roommate.

DS off waitlist last year-in mid June. He had no issues getting an orientation date or housing. He went random for a roommate and it all worked out.
Best year of his life at Michigan! Congrats and Go Blue!
