Does anyone think there will be movement on the LSA waitlist today? How much time did Umich give students to accept or reject from the first round of waitlisted students?
last year there was a wave on May 19 and June 9. So my bet is there won’t be anything until June 10
Don’t think that there will be a “wave” at all … I’m guessing a small ripple

Well they would send an email then right? I feel there will have to be atleast one more wave next monday maybe.

I believe they are supposed to, but it’s been radio silent since the first wave of waitlist releases. Fingers crossed for another wave with good news!

Just used chat last night (after hours) to ask if it would be helpful or relevant to send in final transcript as a WL student. Received this reply at 9:08a (a few minutes after they open). Yeah and I copied and pasted so that grammatical error is from someone working in UMA … I don’t believe AI would make such a careless error.

**So I guess they really don’t care about academic performance senior year? Good to know but then get on with this and cut people loose. I’m just posting this bc I think all the people following this thread appreciate any scrap of information anyone provides to help navigate this torturous process. I’m just a curious information seeking parent but my heart really goes out to the kids I see on some of these threads being lead on with the prospect of being waitlisted.

Every day my daughter is getting more excited about going to the school she committed to, so I’m not sure what she would even do at this point if she got in off the waitlist (highly doubtful anyway).
This process has become so grueling that I just want it over with at this point.

Most have mobed on. my son got off multiple waitlists and turned down all. If they came back earlier it would be a different story. it all works out at the end.

Anything today?
Nothing over here. And I haven’t heard of any other kids getting off the waitlist yet this month.
So, I just noticed my portal changed (under the messages section, it says “checklist is complete,” which wasn’t there before); I think they’re releasing decisions tomorrow. I say this because I was at the beginning of this thread, and when everybody noticed their portals changed, decisions came out a couple of hours later. Anyway, best of luck to everyone waiting; this has been pretty brutal for everyone.

It was there after my daughter submitted her interest in remaining on the waitlist, which was the same day as the waitlist decision was released.
