Has anyone been accepted to Nursing??
This is what my son’s looks like.
Thank you for your application to the University of Michigan College of Engineering. We are pleased that you have applied and are impressed with your achievements. However, our high application volume, coupled with the very strong credentials of our applicants in recent years, has contributed to an increasingly competitive admissions process. As a result, we are writing to inform you that your application is currently being deferred for further review. An official communication will be sent to your email address on file.
While this is not the answer that you were hoping to hear, your application remains under consideration. All final admissions decisions of admit, deny, or waitlist will be made no later than early April, 2017.
Strong fall semester or trimester grades may improve your status in the deferred pool of applicants. Therefore, please ask your high school counselor to forward them when they become available. Beyond that, we are confident that the information you have given us is more than sufficient for a final decision. The most successful candidates send us only what we require. Please refer to the website https://umich.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2080 for FAQ?s about the admission process and what to do next.
We hope your interest in Michigan continues. You have our best wishes for an enjoyable and successful end of your senior year.

Hey guys its great that so many of you have been accepted, but even more of us have been deferred… With that being said, could any of you please answer the question that at least 10 of us have asked? That is, what is the letter of interest, who do we send it out, what do we write in it? Thanks.
@nervusreck paste yours in
^you might want to start a new thread on that. It will get more information/attention. @Collegebound293
Ross people: Tjose decisions come out later.
Letter of interest is email to your regional counselor saying you will attend if accepted and umich is your #1 choice good luck to all deferred! Umich accepts a ton of deferred ppl starting late January/early feb
I’ve been looking for a group me as well…let me know if you find one. @umichhailyes
@amarz12 No the guy didn’t even specify how long, he just said they started releasing them today … He seemed like he didn’t know a lot about it so I just said ok. But both of my status and email shows nothing so far
Is there a pattern on who receives their decision first? As in maybe high stat students receive their decisions first, etc.
Heads up! In the application portal, make sure to click “View application status” and in the bottom righthand corner there’s a link that says “View Decision”
I saw my decision on the portal but no e-mail yet. My thing at the portal just says
“Congratulations! You have been admitted to the University of Michigan College of Engineering! Your official admission letter will be arriving shortly in the mail.”
Is there a way to live chat the office?
