I heard it helped a lot just because michigan is such a “family” school. Just wondering though. Thanks
It might be something they look at. But there’s no way that it could help “a lot.”
@mimimo7890
I dont think they will ever deny highly qualified applicants. I find it crazy they even defer them…makes no sense
I know!!! They’re crazy. My friend was denied there and accepted at Stanford … insane lol @CrabCakes735
MODERATOR’S NOTE:
I will assume that any user whose just registered and claims to have been admitted/rejected from Michigan is pranking and said user will be banned.
For the rest of you, you should assume the same and not engage the person. I am not here 24/7 to monitor. Report the user, and one of the other mods can review if I am not online.

Admission decisions were made for Stamps and transfers.
Maybe since stamps was today another school will be tomorrow… hopefully lsa
I understand that, but that was not the case for the many many posts I just deleted.
“As @HRSMom @youbub34 and I have been trying to tell you, notifications will likely not be released until school is closed. Its a matter of self-protection and self-preservation on UM’s part.” @10isMOM
This is not true.
I dont know what worse: the wait for umich decisions or the wait for the walking dead midseason premier
The Walking Dead is dead to me.
^me too
Any other COE applicants out here?
@afluffymuffin Im applying for COE, OOS
Michigan does not have affirmative action does it?
@afluffymuffin me, OOS
AFAIK, all schools practice concepts seen in AA in one way or another. If they are able to admit an underrepresented minority/lower income student, they will most likely be a bit more lenient towards their stats.
EDIT: Look below to see me getting proved horrendously wrong.
is 1950 an unbelievably low score to get into mich with
Wasn’t there a big court case where michigan was formally barred from using AA?
