UMichigan or Cal?

<p>I got accepted to both, and now I cannot decide. I suppose I need to have an in depth visit to both institutions before I can make a final decision.</p>

<p>I’m planning to double major in English and Business. I’m leaning slightly towards Mich–because from my research Cal is a little too intense, while Michigan has that “midwest laidback: not as competitive feeling,” while still performing equally.</p>

<p>cal has tops in business and english departments. i dunno what you mean by intense, this is the bay area, most people are WAY chill, and the whole “cut-throat” myth is just that, a myth.
for english, or any of the humanities, the people are smart, laid back, and just great. it’s california, how much more laid back can you get. come visit.</p>
