Left HS two years early for a residential early-entrance joint enrollment program at the University of West GA. Maintained 3.9 GPA @ HS and am on the Dean’s List at UWG
I have lots of EC’s but I do not want to waste your time w/ them.
I took the only AP class available at my HS.
I have an 1190 SAT
and a 29 ACT

I’d appreciate any advice.

It seems that you are a little short of a shoe-in. More than likely, when you apply ,as long as you make an okay attempt at the essays, not only will you be offered admission, but they will probably ask you to be in their honors program. My only tip is to apply early admission (before November) because it is easier to get into the honors program and to a certain extent their regular program that way…

i wouldnt say that youre a shoe in… you need to get in the high 1200s to be in for sure and in the 1400s to get into the honors program. Take the SAT again and try to raise your score

you may need to get higher than the 1400’s to be sure of the honors program. Especially if your class rank isnt the greatest.

I would just submit your ACT. Your ACT is definitely high enough to get into UGA along with your GPA. However your SAT is poor. Only submit the ACT and your grades and you will get in, don’t worry.

Thanks, everyone!
I already made a boo boo though, every time I took a standardized test I sent the scores to UGA so they have all of my test scores…SAT’s and ACT’s

its ok they will only look at the highest and ignore the others.

Also, I made another boo boo, haha. I took the ACTs with the writing and got a not so hot score, but then I took the again without the writing and I made a 29, so should I take them again with writing or not?

yeah that was a boo boo. All schools require you to take the ACT with writing now. Therefore, your 29 will not be accepted. You have to retake in order for them to consider the score.

could i send in both scores? or no?
