<p>I received the letter today regarding the University minority mentor program. soo…what are the perks for participating? I don’t want to commit and be obligated to participate if i’m not really interested.</p>
<p>They pair you with a faulty mentor in you major/dept. Usually they pair around 10-15 student with each mentor. Before school starts they have a big get together so mentors and mentees can meet. Its up to you if you keep in contact of not. I know engineering people get a really good mentor.</p>
