Unable to access ELI account

<p>Last night, when I tried to log on to my ELI account to check on the progress of one of me mysteriously missing teacher recs, I got this message whenever I tried to get to the ELI login page:</p>

<p>Error: Authentication Failed. ORA-12505: TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor</p>

<p>I tried again a few hours later, the same thing happened, and I checked five minutes ago, and I managed to get to the login page, but when I entered my username and password, I was yet again met with the above message.</p>

<p>Anybody else having the same problem?</p>

<p>Yes. I had (still having, I think) the same problem Lol. Server must have got messed up definitely.</p>

Try again now?</p>

<p>And my teacher rec status is still a sad “Not received”.</p>

<p>Yup, it works fine now.
Did you speak to your teacher who sent in the recommendation? He/She might have not sent it. Anyway, it’s best you clarify this with Yale right now. Call 'em.</p>
