<p>i applied to UNC as an undecided and i was admitted to “the General College”. W T F is that. Is that like inferior to the college of arts and sciences? I applied as a risng sophmore. </p>
<p>Someone please tell me what general college is vs. cas. I hope its not like NYU’s GSP program or something</p>
<p>During a recent conversation with an adcom, I was told the general college no longer exists, but since I don’t attend UNC yet (I was accepted as a Jr transfer to A&S - Bio), I can’t really speak to it. Contact the school to get clarification.</p>
<p>general college is where all freshman and sophomores go. if you continue in a field of study that isn’t a professional school (english, history, sociology) past your first two yeras you are then automatically launched into the c of arts and sciences. no need to apply.</p>
