<p>Both the official nominees from our school heard back…and they advanced. It kind of ticks me off because my friend is one of them, but he’s applying early to an Ivy. Grrr. And there was only a pool of about 5 of us that did a preliminary form for the nomination in the first place. He’s a great friend, but I kind of feel like he’s taking my space, because he IS pretty likely to get in there, IMO.</p>
<p>My GC told them that they’re really not likely to get it because only about 2 or 3 of the actual winners each year are private school kids, though.</p>
