Portal always goes first, email might come at same time or later, but def not before

no portal changes for me, maybe not today? usually it changes 2 hours before someone said.
I still think it will be today. It seems some years they change the portal ahead of time and other years they don’t
Seems weird they would make it the last Friday of Jan every year and decide to change it up this year, especially considering counselors got the info already.
What info do counselors get? And counselors from where???

There was a meeting today with counselors and UNC admission people. They were over data and stuff and said it would be today.

I have a really good relationship with my school counselor (who is herself very well connected) and she tells me everything. I also monitor websites here and reddit mostly, very carefully and am able to make educated guesses based on patterns I have seen in the past 4 years.
I wonder if counselor can know decisions before you?
